The founder of Fiam Francesco Favagrossa
Francesco Favagrossa is the founder of Fiam Italian Factory Metal furniture. Born in 1923, in the post-war period enhances its technical knowledge to redial motorcycles from the componentry of old disused motorcycles by American soldiers.
The inventive spirit leads him in 1975 to develop the first metal furniture and establish Fiam together with his son Ennio. With the input of the second son, Silvio, in company and thanks to the acquisition of a small company that produced deckchairs interwoven, the enterprise recognizes a constant growth. Since then, each product, has been characterized by original design and functional, mechanical solutions, technological and fittings carefully studied.
Since 1975 to present, Francesco Favagrossa has designed the most Fiam models.
