FIAM ON THE RUNWAY

The evocative location of Bagni Misteriosi in Milan, dating back to the Thirties, was the perfect set for the fashion movie presenting the Spring/Summer 2022 Chiara Boni La Petite Robe collection, which also features the Spaghetti by Fiam armchair. 

SPAGHETTI by FIAM: relaxation, style and an absolute must-have

The evocative location of Bagni Misteriosi in Milan, dating back to the Thirties, was the perfect set for the fashion movie presenting the Spring/Summer 2022 Chiara Boni La Petite Robe collection, which also features the Spaghetti by Fiam armchair.  In Chiara's mind, cleanliness is the key word that sums up the new 2022 collection. The designer celebrates her 50 years of fashion by focusing for the season on essential looks and silhouettes that accentuate natural forms. The essentiality of the shapes is also the maximum expression of the Spaghetti chair, which perfectly matches the location and the outfits created.

Commitment to sustainability

In September 2019 Chiara Boni La Petite Robe was the first brand in womenswear to obtain European Pef (Product Environmental Footprint) certification. Fiam has also always had a green soul and makes products according to the principles of sustainable development using renewable raw materials, and producing clean energy thanks to a modern photovoltaic system.

During the summer, FIAM attended several events. FIAM SPAGHETTI, the special guest, juggled different curtains, adapting perfectly to each context. Speaking of green, on Friday 3th September 2021 the Franciacorta Golf Club hosted the event "Golf is WOMEN", an all-female competition. For this event, Fiam Spaghetti became Pink. The initiative, which Fiam fully supported, was aimed at giving young people the opportunity to approach a sport immersed in nature and in the open air.

The event was a real success, and the numerous participants enjoyed a fun and healthy competition.

On 12th September 2021 the thirteenth edition of the Trofeo Lugana Riserva Segio Zenato was held at the Golf Club Paradiso del Garda in Peschiera, a celebration in memory of the founder Sergio Zenato. This year, in addition to the historic Zenato parters, the golf club's own  Spaghetti POP signed by Fiam.

In the 1980s, the parents of the man in the photograph, Mr. Carl Schipper, saw the Spaghetti chairs on a return trip from Italy, tried them out and fell in love with them. They bought two of them, even though they were travelling by train, and took them with their luggage to Holland. Their son, 40 years later, during the Zenato trophy, recognised the Fiam armchairs and told us this pleasant anecdote, a story of family and passion for the product, the same passion that FIAM, and the Favagrossa family, have been putting into the creation of iconic and timeless creations for over 45 years.
